Powell River Division, located on the mainland coast of British Columbia, is a leading producer of high-quality newsprint and uncoated mechanical specialty papers. With 529 employees, Powell River Division plays an important role in the cultural, social and economic health of this community.
We're a proud contributor to programs and organizations that support a strong and vibrant community in Powell River. The division and employees are big supporters of the Powell River and District United Way, contributing thousands of dollars each year to this important community building organization. The Powell River mill is also home to a salmon hatchery, operated by the Powell River Salmon Society, that can rear 2.5 million fry a year for release into local streams.
