Powell River Division receives Wal-Mart award
For two years running, the Powell River Division has been recognized by Wal-Mart as its paper supplier of the year. The award, presented to the company at Wal-Mart’s headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, puts the spotlight on a cross-company team effort from sales, to supply chain logistics, right to the technical team running paper machine #10 at the mill. A $7.5 million upgrade to paper machine #10 will be completed by May of this year.
