Sarah Walters



Vice President, Paper & Packaging Sales

Sarah Walters brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, having worked at a variety of paper mills including NewPage, Verso and most recently as a sales director at ND Paper.  She has managed a variety of customers including brokers, merchants, printers, direct and specialty accounts. She has an intense focus on growing markets and an ability to adapt in ever changing landscapes.  Sarah has an undergraduate in business management and a master’s degree in Management, Innovation and Change from Wright State University.  She resides in Troy, OH with her husband and children.



Jean Buckwalter



Vice President, Specialty Sales

Jean Marie is responsible for Specialty Sales with a focus on increasing our share of specialty paper products and commercializing new products. Jean brings two decades of specialty paper sales experience in Canada and the U.S. She also brings a strong background in consultative selling techniques and a proven record of selling value-added products. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Neumann College in Aston, PA. She is based in Philadelphia.



Christophe Kusel



Vice President, Paper Sales & Marketing

Christophe brings previous industry experience having worked for Abitibi Consolidated, International Paper and Stora Enso and leads Catalyst’s sales efforts in Latin America. He brings 19 years of past experience in a variety of sales and management positions, for a wide range of products, and in the US, Canadian and Asian markets. Most recently, Christophe served as Director of Sales of Northeast US and Eastern Canada for NewPage. Christophe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Hobart College and Master of Arts degrees in French Studies from the University at Albany and New York University.

Peter Hart



Vice President Paper Sales, Canada

Peter has 35 years of experience in pulp and paper sales and marketing. He started his career in 1984 with British Columbia Forest Products, one of the predecessor companies of Catalyst Paper, in the role of Canadian Newsprint Sales Representative. He progressed through a number of different roles in both the paper sales and pulp sales side of the business, reaching the level of VP Pulp Sales in 2005. Peter returned to Catalyst and Paper Excellence in October, 2019. Peter is a graduate of Queens University.



Ryan McGraw



Manager Specialty Sales

Ryan has over 15 years of experience in the paper packaging and printing industry which adds depth and resources that support Paper Excellence’s growing specialty grade product line. His span of experience in the industry covers multiple roles such as technical service, product development and sales. Ryan is an experienced technical sales representative with a demonstrated history of working in the paper and forest products industry. Most recently, Ryan’s focus has been primarily on specialty papers and product development. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Imaging Arts and Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology.


Robin Tan



Director, Pulp Sales

Robin joined Paper Excellence in 2016. Robin started his career in the Ministry of Social and Family Development with the Singapore government as a Psychologist. Prior moving to Canada, Robin worked in China managing Global Human Resources. He holds MBA and a bachelor’s degree of Arts and Science in Economics and Psychology from the National University of Singapore. In June 2020, he decided to take on a new role of Director of Pulp Sales.

China Sales Director, Paper & Packaging Sales

Sarah Wang brings more than 16 years of experience in sales and marketing, having worked at a variety of companies including paper mills and numerous international trading houses. She has a wide range of product knowledge spanning from industrial packaging paper to food packaging and specialties. Sarah has the ability to adapt to different corporate cultures, quick market changes and has a strong understanding of market sentiments and trends. She holds a master’s degree in Finance and Business Administration, both from SUN YAT-SEN University in Guangdong, China. She services the Chinese market and resides in Guangzhou.


Gary Dow



Manager, Sales

Gary’s career has spanned print manufacturing and sales, paper making, sourcing, pharmaceutical industry and advertising. Holding positions with the L.P. Thebault Company (Mittera Group), Domtar, Finch, Rolland, Bristol Myers Squibb and Coyne Communications. Gary has focused on building brand loyalty in the premium print and paper market segments.

Gary did his undergraduate studies at Pratt Institute, NYC  concentration in Graphic Design and Illustration.
