Sally Chan - VP Pulp Sales

Sally's industry experience spans both pulp and paper.  She started with Fletcher Challenge in 1989, then joined the Paper Division in 1991 and had been through a number of capacities with the Paper Division. In 2003 Sally moved into Pulp Marketing as sales coordinator and became the Pulp Sales Director in 2007. As VP Pulp Sales, she is responsible for pulp sales in all markets.

 

James Hardt - VP Printing and Writing

James is a 30-year veteran of the print and paper industry. James has held numerous technical and sales management positions during his 21 years with Catalyst.  Previously he managed our Directory and Newsprint Business Units and was responsible for direct sales to our Directory Publisher and US Newspaper Publisher customers.
James completed his undergraduate studies at Mercer University.

 

Mark Petersen - VP Export and Specialty

Mark began his pulp and paper career in 1986 with Crown Forest Industries. Mark’s experience spans every facet of the paper industry — from paper converting, packaging, printing, customer service, production planning and supervision to logistics and both domestic and international sales. More recently, his role as VP Export and Specialty is central to the increased sales of paper products into the international markets, which has given Catalyst a definite advantage as a truly international player.

 

Linda Champigny - VP of Business Operations

Linda started with Fletcher Challenge in 1989 and has many years’ experience in the pulp and paper industry. She began her career in customer service, moved to paper sales and progressed to a leadership role in business operations.  She is a strategic thinker with a passion for analytics. Always with an eye for growth opportunities and optimizing the business.

 

Hamish Doughty, VP, Supply Chain

Hamish Doughty was appointed Vice President, Supply Chain in June 2018. He joined Catalyst in 2003 and has worked in leadership roles in sales, procurement and supply chain. In 2015, he played a critical role in the integration of the Rumford and Biron mills, capturing significant savings and synergies in the process. Throughout his career in the industry, Hamish has demonstrated the pursuit of continuous improvement by driving change in operations and supply chain, and proficiently managing complex supplier challenges.
